10/9 is Hangul Day (한글날). Hangul is the Korean alphabet system created by King Sejong 세종대왕. To celebrate, Sundae School collaborated with Rin Kim Ni @flesh.orchid to make a zine about Korean Queer culture. Rin curated written and pictorial pieces from amazing LGBTQIA Korean / Korean American creatives, including @hyperlinkpress , @nativeboytoy, @teeeighthundred and a still closeted Korean dude. This zine is bi-lingual in both English and Korean. Conversations about South Korean queer identities are often inaudible, and we wanted to showcase our pride through our mother tongue. The zines drop on www.sundae.school at 4:20 PM. Translations by Chae Won Park.
